Mold Maker, Plastic Injection Molding

Fast paced Injection Molding Company seeks experienced Mold Makers. Applicants must be CAD computer literate, 3D experience a plus.

Duties include, but are not limited to responsible for laying-out, building, fine-tuning and repairing injection molds.

Candidate must be able to do design, lays out, machines, fits, assembles, finishes and repair molds for injection molding of plastic products. Analyze specifications and apply knowledge of mold design and construction.

Must know CAD files, blueprints of product and mold, and computer specifications; apply knowledge of shop mathematics and plastic molding processes and machinery; Plan sequence of operations, visualizing shape of mold in reverse of product.

Must be able to set up and operate machines, such as sinker EDM, wire EDM, milling machines, etc; Verify dimensions, using vision systems, calipers, planer gauges, and dial indicators.

Wage commensurate with experience.
