Director of Manufacturing

Fast paced Injection Molding Company seeks experienced manager to oversee manufacturing operations. Plastics background a must and Injection Molding preferred; Applicants should hold Bachelor’s Degree, plus 10 Years production experience in tech environment or equivalent experience; 5 year experience as direct management/supervisor of production workers; Strong commitment to quality, productivity and team performances; Ability to be mentor for subordinates in workplace environment

Main duties are to Direct and coordinate, through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with production of company products, utilizing knowledge of product technology, production methods and procedures, and capabilities of machines and equipment.

Confer with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.

Plan and direct production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors. Coordinate production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.

Develop and implement operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality. Consult with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.

Wage commensurate with experience.
